Before coming to JEL, I received my BA from Indiana University in Bloomington. After getting my degree, I continued to work for WTIU on live studio production, Avid editing, documentary production and just about any other production related job you can think of. After two stints at WTHR here in Indy and a couple of years working as a photojournalist at WNDU in South Bend/Notre Dame University, I found my way to Butler University (Go Dawgs!) where I finished my teaching license. After receiving my license, I was hired at JEL and the rest is history. I've been teaching here for 15 years and love the fact that I have been able to create my own class and customize its curriculum to allow students to explore and create all that is Animation & Film. When I'm not at school, I'm putting miles on my motorcycles, out on a river fly fishing or hanging with my family that includes a French Bulldog named Brooks that has a huge personality.
