“Tell me and I forget.  Teach me and I remember.  Involve me and I learn.” -Ben Franklin

Let’s face it, we don’t all learn in the same way.  Some of us are more hands-on, while others might prefer to listen to a lecture.  Where one may have a love of books, some one else would rather create a new beat.  These differences-our passions, make us who we are, shape our strengths, and can guide us to our own purpose in life.

At J. Everett Light, we want to tap into that inspiration-whether it’s working on cars, finding the joy of cooking, or creating your first short film, we are here to help you develop and craft your skill set.  We offer a wide variety of support services for students, and take care in ensuring students are aware of their own self-advocacy skills for now and for their future.

If you have questions or would like to learn more about our Learning Center and student supports, or are interested in a tour and/or  classroom shadow, contact Mrs. Brittany Kirschner, Special Education Coordinator to find out how we can help.
