What is Dual Credit?
Dual credit is the term given to courses in which high school students have the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously.
College Credit for JEL Courses
Enrollment in some of our courses offers an opportunity for students to receive college credit as well as high school credit. You can save time and money because you won’t have to take these classes at college. Dual credit is dependent upon successful completion of the course and typically require the student earn at least a “B” grade for each semester.
At J. Everett Light Career Center, Dual Credit is available in many of our classes.
* Check with program instructors for specific dual credit information.
